Why social media & why Deb?
Deb used her natural marketing skills to use social media while working evenings & weekends on a start-up in 2008, before she left her university position as an internal consultant. In 2009, Twitter and Facebook were exotic curiosities, yet starting to be helpful to small businesses building awareness in specialized niches. Now social media is mainstream and curation is essential.
From building simple websites and curating content on Weebly & ScoopIt, to managing LinkedIn groups and Instagram, Vine, and Youtube accounts, Deb has been at the forefront social media for everything from marketing to video and photo journalism.
